Sidon is 8......................

This birthday was a little different than others in the past! We celebrated Sidon's birthday on the 17th so that Papa and Dad could be a part of it before they headed off to work for the week. Sidon wanted chocolate chip cookies and as an added bonus we had strawberry cheesecake (notice the '8' made out of strawberries!). Sidon got legos from Grandma and Papa and a train set from us. A fun Sunday celebration.
Sidon Craig you are my tough guy. I know that you have a soft heart and genuine love and protection for your little sisters (and Sawyer). You also have a very stubborn nature and a hard head when it comes to doing things 'your' way. Your Dad and I, with the Lords help, hope to harness that determination into something great. You absolutely LOVE sports! You love watching football with Dad and love playing football on the playground even more. You also have a love for art and the drawings you do are improving all the time. You were able to go with Dad to work and I think that made a huge impression on you and Sawyer both. Dad said that you offered to pack his gas or chain bag. He let you pack the chain bag because it was lighter. The ground was steep and you didn't make it very far, Dad said that the way you looked at him when you realized what he does every day for us was so worth it. I pray that you continue to grow into a strong young man with a soft heart. We love you and can't wait to see what this next year brings!
