I have said this before but flying by the seat of your pants has the best view!! We had a spontaneous 'Fancy Tea Party' tonight. Krissi offered to swap my boys for Piper, she would take all of the boys to basketball practice and I would keep all of the girls at my house. What a perfect opportunity for ALL things girly! I whipped up some home made pudding and some heart shaped biscuits for our party and set to getting all of us dressed up FANCY!! Yeah, you heard that right, ALL of us, I also dressed up fancy! Sidon said it looked like I was ready for church and Sawyer just laughed. Krissi also laughed! It was very fun to have pudding with whipped cream and pink sprinkles and water in special tea cups. Piper demonstrated how to properly hold one's pinky up while eating pudding, Molly grabbed her teacup, pounded the table with her fist, and yelled 'Down the Hatch!', Maggie showed everyone how to pose for the photo opp, and Tallis Rose was content to eat biscuits! That is all of these girls showing exactly who they are!! Girly and dainty, loud and hilarious, entertaining and center of attention, and content and happy! The girls danced in the bedroom under the princess light and had a blast. What a fun memory for me!

Happy New Year

Life is simple and blessings are great. I'm sorry to all my blog checkers that it has been so long since my last post. Christmas has flown by, with great pictures that are on Grandma's computer, and the new year has arrived. We had to reflect on this last year and although there were was quite a list, I still think that the blessings out numbered the bad.
I have a Heavenly Father that I am close to and talk to daily, I have parents that are the best ever, I love AND like my guy, I have five children that make me laugh and frustrate me all at the same time, I know what the true meaning of family is, I know that this life is my story (and it is a great one), I know how to swallow pride (Maggie told me 'You just chomp it up into little tiny bits and then you swallow'), new haircuts will make you Christmas ready, good friends are priceless, a three bedroom-one bathroom home is perfect, home birth is awesome, fresh clean sheets are always good, groceries taste better with coupons, the Lord will always give you what you need, and the greatest of these is Love.
