We took the afternoon and spent it at the river. I consider it a blessing to be able to drive 2 minutes and have a fun afternoon in the river. After we were covered in sand and smelled like river we took our library coupons for softie ice cream down to the drive in and finished our day with melting chocolate ice cream and more wet wipes than any one person should be allowed to use! It was a good day indeed!!

These are great! Sorry we missed you that day. My boys will be happy to know that Sawyer caught some fish - that's what their goal was, but they just kept getting water skippers.
What a good mom to let them get all stinky in the river and then drip ice cream down the front of them! It makes bathtime that much more refreshing.
