Did you Know...................

Did you know that???? I thought about this question tonight as I was taking pictures of kids in the open lot down from our house. Did you know that you could take some of the most precious pictures of your little guys in a cruddy lot down from your house that, in late summertime, is the cause of many a flat tire due to goatheads? It made me think about what other things I might have missed, what other things do I 'know' for certain. I am going to write them as they come to me~ Did you know that.......love is NOT complicated, it just is. Did you know that........you can make dinner with what you have in your cupboard. Did you know that..........God's love is certain. Did you know that.......it took me months to get back to this blog post. Did you know that......family is precious and home should be a 'haven'. Did you know that.......the best friends you have in your whole life will be good for your marriage, your children, and you. Did you know that......you will make it through whatever you are going through right now and still be alright. Did you know that..........having an 'uncomplicated' childhood works to your advantage. Did you know that........you can sort through the mess of a 'complicated' childhood and come out a better parent for having the knowledge. Did you know that.............you are capable, every day, of doing something absolutely amazing. Did you know that.....something amazing you do might be from the perspective of a five year old. Did you know that.......memories are made of 'snipits' of time that we (adults) think are sometimes not memorable. Did you know that.......the Lord tells you on a daily basis what it is you need to do, if you refuse to listen He only gets louder. Did you know that..........Children love their parents, and you are not graded, ranked, or scored. Did you know that...........makes a being a parent such a privelege and a BIG job. Did you know that.......everyone wants to be happy. Did you know that..........popsicles are a teething babies best friend. Did you know that.......no two people are alike. Did you know that............you are one of a kind. Did you know that........no one likes being told that they are acting like someone else because it is never said when the behavior is good. Did you know that........it is ok to cry. Happy or sad tears, they are all ok. Did you know that..........everyones' poop stinks, some think theirs does not, but they are wrong. Did you know that........the best testimony is that of example. 'Actions speak louder than words'. Live it. Did you know that...........'living it' should not be hard work. Just live it. Did you know that............little kids are easier than big ones, most of the time. Did you know that.......we are all given one story to write. It is ours, the only one that is ever written. Make it amazing.
