Ahhh, looks can be so deceiving! I was in somewhat of a frantic state of hormonal crazy today and felt as if I needed to mow my yard or the world would implode. I got Molly down for a nap, put on my grubby yard clothes and proceeded on with my harried plan of attack. As I got the yard done I thought, 'This would be a great time to take some sweet relaxed pictures of the kids'. Reminder, I'm running on hormonal crazy! I get all the kids dressed up and hair done (the boys didn't take long!) and put them in the yard. Now comes the fun part, four kids all smiling and happy all at the same time. So I'll admit there was some frustration on my part trying to get all my little darlings to pose at the same time! Wouldn't you know that my batteries also died after the first two pictures so into the house to charge them up, all the while telling the kids, gently of course, to stay put and keep smiling. Molly was less than thrilled with the whole process and thus would not look into the camera for any picture! I did get a few that were good but very hard earned! For every good picture there is probably a story that goes along with it.
So with pictures taken off of my list of things to do we headed into the house to treat grass stains on 'good' clothes and take a bath. This is when the real estate agent called and asked if this would be a good time to come and take pictures of our house, WHAAAT!!!! 'Sure' I say like it's no big deal, I have enough hormonal crazy left for that, totally!! I'm sweaty, my kids are naked in the tub and my house is not 'staged'. I tell Sawyer to watch Molly and I head back outside to take some pictures of my house myself. I have literally never cleaned my house that fast before and I'm scared what I might find in drawers and cupboards over the next few days! When Wendy showed up I had a full card of pictures for her to take back to the office and use for our new flier.
I do not take for granted the crazy hormones that God gave me, I could move mountains on days like today! All of this over an insane urge to mow my yard! And guess what, I kept my world from imploding, at least for today!!

The pictures are so cute. I would have never known what kind of crazy hormones were on the other side of that camera! I'm glad your yard was ready for pictures - and glad for you that it was 'just' pictures and not someone coming to look at the house! I hope those hard earned pictures get some good lookers at your place!
