We have the most amazing Grandma in the world! Sawyer and Sidon went with Grandma Mary to Ski Swap in Boise and got geared up for ski season at Tamarack. Over the last three days the boys have been being groomed into Grandma's skiing buddies. Sawyer thinks that he could just quit school and go to ski school and it would be a good trade! He told Grandma that she had turned him into 'a skiing mess'. After three days Sidon said tonight that his whole body was sore and he was given a dose of Tylenol. Welcome to sore muscles and extreme sports! Sidon had a little harder time listening to instruction and was ratted on by his big brother. I think about half way through their lesson Sidon dismissed himself and was making two runs for every one the class did. He had to start taking direction so that he could go on the chair lift, it must have been good motivation. Sawyer is always thinking things through and he had to let Grandma know that if he had fallen out of the chair lift he possibly could have broken his arm. I'm so grateful that the boys will have these great memories shared with Grandma and Papa!
This is called 'The Magic Carpet' but Sidon informed me that there was nothing magic about it!
