So I finally had Sawyer snap some pics of my growing belly before we ran out of time. Soon I hope to get my 'belly pictures' done but I realized yesterday that I have like two pictures of me pregnant this time and it has flown by! I can't believe that in just 8 weeks we will find out who this little person is.

Playing Store!
The kids were bored and needed an activity so we pulled out the ironing board and food from the pantry and they set up a store. I am always happy to have them play for an extended amount of time with no fights!

One thing leads to another.
The boys have gone to Donnelly with Papa and Grandma to go skiing this weekend and yesterday it felt very quiet. The girls and I got up, had breakfast, and I decided to do some weekly house cleaning. This is how one thing leads to another! I stripped all of the sheets off of everyone's beds and started the task of washing and making them back up. Now I swear this is not nesting this is just how I am. As I pulled the bunk beds away from the wall I noticed that the paint in the kid's room could use a touch-up and wouldn't you know that I have some extra paint just for such an occasion! It was about 3:00 so I figured I had plenty of time. Craig got home just as I was starting, anymore he just laughs and figures that is me. The touch-up turned out to be three of the four walls and the ceiling but it looks so nice and clean. I would have taken a picture but because I didn't change the color it is only noticeable to me. If this is my vice I guess it is a fairly safe one!

Christmas Jammies!
We are following Melissa's example and posting (late, I might add) the kids in their Grandma Mary jammies. Thanks Mom and Dad, it was a great day!

Christmas 2008
I am so thankful for the family that I have been given. We spent the morning at our house and then we packed up food and gifts and went to Grandma and Papa's house. There was (predictably) much more food than we needed and the afternoon was spent resting while the kids played in the snow. It was a good Christmas indeed!

To-Using!
When Craig got home from work today he supplied a snack for the girls and as I walked by Maggie said, "Mom, we are 'to-using'!". I must admit I was a little confused and with all children comes a foreign language that we hope we will master sometime before they are 18. I asked, "You are crushing?", to which Maggie decided a demonstration was in order. I'm not sure where Maggie picked up on this. Maggie held up her banana and Molly did as well, they smashed them together and yelled "To Us"! They were indeed 'To Us-ing' and I finally understood.

'We scored a tree!'
Well, it was 50 degrees today and the sun was shining. I called Craig and left him a message gently suggesting that it would be a great opportunity to get a Christmas tree. As I recall, last year we spent Christmas Eve with beach towels under our tree to soak up the melting ice before we could decorate! This has to be a record for the Green clan. Craig did find a great tree, and he is VERY picky when it comes to trees! The kids enjoyed decorating and Molly enjoyed taking all the decorations back off! We have been blessed with so many great gifts.
