Sawyer reached a milestone that all children dream about, he lost his first tooth! I was worried that the boys would lose their first teeth during one of their occasional boxing matches but he lost it the good old fashioned way, eating! After it fell out he wanted to look at it and dropped it and couldn't find it. He had a few tears until I convinced him that if he wrote a note about his situation the tooth fairy would probably understand. He made a model of the tooth and went to his room to write a note. I will have to explain the note, it reads, 'this is a model of my tooth, please can I have two dollars?' I told Sawyer that I wasn't sure you could demand a certain price for your tooth. I love this age when he is so eager to try and sound out the words and write them himself, one of these days the spelling will be correct and I will be sad that I don't have sweet notes like this to puzzle over!

Oh so cute!!! I LOVE notes like that! We have had several teeth lost (after they fell out of Hunter's mouth) when he had to explain to the tooth fairy. In his last note, he asked if the tooth fairy could take a picture of herself. Tell Sawyer to hide a camera under his pillow next time because Hunter forgot to do that and he's still anxious to see what she looks like. :-) ha ha!
Bo told him that the toothfairy was either 5'11 and hairy or 5'4 and blonde! Sawyer was like 'What is that supposed to mean?'

The stupid thing about spelling is that it does not make sense. Most of the time that I go to correct Luciana's misspelled words I realize it actually makes more sense to spell it the way she did!
How Wonderful!! So many things to look forward to!!! Congratulations Sawyer!!! Love ya-Cassy
