A trophy and a story

There is a story behind this trophy that Craig was asked to make and I thought it was funny enough to share.

Every year the Associated Logging Contractors have an annual meeting and hand out awards and such for various accomplishments in the logging community. In the past few years there has been an added category called 'The Galen Award', it is given to the individual who does the funniest or dumbest thing in the woods. The award this year was given to a poor woman who was helping her husband by stopping traffic on a main county road while he was yarding logs across it. It happened to be very cold in the morning and very hot in the afternoon so she had been in the habit of changing into shorts at some point throughout the day. On this unlucky day she started to change from pants to shorts and heard (much to her horror) a vehicle coming up the road! While in a hurry to get her pants back from their postion around her ankles she managed to get tangled in her lawn chair and ended up on her back with pants still around her ankles while the car drove past ( you can almost hear the laughter)! All the while she is yelling into the radio to her husband trying to let him know that she didn't get the car stopped. He was worried that he had likely smashed some car or hurt someone. When he found out the real reason for the distressed call on the radio he was somewhat relieved and also had a good story to tell.

Craig was asked to make a trophy given the circumstances of the funny story and this is what he came up with. I thought it turned out pretty well, although I'm sure she would prefer that everyone hadn't gotten such a laugh out of her plight!
