Cousins in Oregon......

Neither Lori or I told any of our kids that they would be seeing each other so you can imagine the squeals when we pulled up to Aunt Lori and Uncle Greg's house. We spent the afternoon letting the kids play and we ate dinner at their house, something that does not happen often enough. We get to see them in Idaho but our trips to their territory are usually far between. It was a much needed afternoon!

Going on an Excursion!!!!!!

I mentioned that Maggie has been wanting to go on an excursion to the ocean and see her cousins and on this morning that wish was granted by Grandma Mary (and Papa), even though Papa and Craig were left home to work. It would have been more fun if they could have come but we will take a trip if it comes our way! We are like the bird dog, we just like to GO!

Our first stop was McDonald's in Weiser!

Pool Party.......

We had a pool party yesterday with the Hansen boys and got no pictures. Today we had Piper come and play and she insisted on bringing her swimsuit in case we swam in the rain! Well we compromised and had a pool party indoors with the dolls, complete with bathing suits!

Matchy Matchy........

The girls got a little something from Grandma Mary and I really do love having them all match. I know that there will come a day when they will not let me dress them all the same so I will enjoy it as long as I can!

Fancy Maggie...........

Oh my special Maggers....
We truly had the fancy birthday this year with your Cinderella dress and the parfait's. You are into everything fancy (Thanks Fancy Nancy). French words, pretty pink poodles, parfaits instead of plain old ordinary sundaes, an impressive vocabulary, and beautiful tea lights on the table. I am amazed at how you look over your brother's shoulder and 'help' him out when he is doing a timed practice with his letters, he doesn't appreciate it much but I am so proud of you none the less. I will always think that you were the most beautiful Maggie that was ever born. I see me in your face and I love that. With the right encouragement you are the best helper I could ever have. I have loved how you have taken to using new words and putting them into your own sentences.........I am so humiliated because I can't find any clean panties (Classic)! I hope that is the very worst of your humiliations. You have become the leader of the pack. I cannot for the life of me envision my life without all three of my girls in it, and you being in the lead. You will make a good leader, I am sure of it. Our conversations have been focused around 'excursions' (very special trip) to the ocean lately and I hope that is something that we can post about soon. I love your face sweet girl, Happy 5th Birthday Maggie Shay!

Maggie holds the record. She is the first child in the Green house to NOT have a birthday cake on her birthday! She wanted a 'Fancy' party and she got one. Ooh La La, she wanted parfaits for her birthday and to top it off she received a whole bag of Fancy Nancy loot from Grandma and Papa! Grandma Nelma provided jewelery in the form of a heart shaped locket. As you can see from the pictures below Lindsay was able to come to her party which was a good gift all in itself. Maggers is 5!!!

BIG Fish..............

Bo went fishing with Levi Henderson and Randall Miller at the Little Salmon River and this was their haul. Pretty impressive! Too bad I don't like salmon but thankfully that twiggy five year old of ours does so she had a wonderful dinner! Thanks Gart!

Little Helpers..........

Molly wanted to help me make some cinnamon rolls and Tallis always has to get in on the action. I loved Molly's flour covered face and her cinnamon rolls turned out great!
