Buried at the Playground.............

This just made me want Sawyer to go home and take a shower but they all seemed to be having fun doing it!!

Splash Party....................

We had the end of summer reading splash party in the park and these are just a few of the pictures. Krissi made a 'kid wash' out of PVC pipe and it was a huge hit! A very fun day!

Tallis is ready......

Greasy Fair Burgers and Snow Cones........

I love the Fair. Mind you, our Fair is small and the Greens make up a large portion of the open exhibit entries (leave it to the big families in this town to keep art alive!). We went on Friday night and had dinner and checked out the exhibits and topped it off with snow cones and a visit to the small and large animal barns. The boys climbed the rock wall that the National Guard brought in and were able to ride the mechanical bull. All four of the big kids went with Grandma and Papa to the rodeo and we got a night to visit without interruption, did I mention that I love the Fair?!

Tallis was sooooo excited to see the horses and Jessica Bauer obliged her with a front row seat to all the action!

Preparing for fair.........

The mad dash of creativity, the smell of markers, the mess of water color paints, and the Mom that is really glad to have (almost) all of the fair projects done for yet another year! We had some really fun entries this year and I am going to somehow come up with a clever way of taking pictures of a few that have survived the weeks of my blog snubbing (don't be offended, I meant my own blog!). I need to learn from a good friend and take pictures when we bring stuff home from the fair!
Maybe I will have a follow up post to this...........

All Nighter.............

The boys are officially rednecks! Bo took the boys to Oxbow to go cat fishing, all night! They had all sorts of good stories for me when they woke me up at 5:00 a.m.! As you can see they did catch a few and the memories will last forever..........

Riding Bikes.....

We ventured down to the parking lot to try out Maggie's wheels and get a little practice time in on the trike for Molly. It was funny to see Tallis figure out that she could catch a ride in the trunk of the trike! Molly didn't appreciate the weight of her stow away but it was funny regardless! I couldn't catch Sidon holding still and Maggie was riding to the far corner and back again to tell me she had just went to the ocean without me but next time I could go. Very simple fun........

Molly's sweet face.......

The busy traffic.......

My favorite, notice how Tallis is saying "WEEEEEE" and Molly isn't moving at all?!

Handsome Sawyer...........

Happy 7th Birthday Sidon!

Seven years old, really?! We spent Sidons day at Grandma and Papa's Council house. The day was fun and laid back and very easy! You will have to excuse the lack of pictures, some of them are on Mom's camera!

Sidon you are quickly becoming a big kid. You are Sawyers constant companion, and fellow errand runner (Post Office, Library, and whatever else is relatively close to the house). I am so thankful to have two big boys like you both to protect those sisters of yours. You told me the other day that you cannot wait to play football so that you can "Lay someone out!". We warned you that sometimes you are the one that gets 'laid out' and you just grinned that Sidon grin and said "I don't care.". I have a feeling that we are going to have alot of fun watching you play sports (as long as we don't have any more basketball kicking episodes!). You are going to be starting first grade and spending whole days at school and I will miss you being here with the girls. I know that you are ready to learn more and that is exciting for Dad and I. This next year will go by faster than I want it to but I pray it will be one full of great memories! I love you tough guy.
