Molly's One!!!

Happy Birthday Taters! I cannot believe that a year has already flown by. Molly is quickly becoming such a cheese, playing it up for the camera! She is my blessing and I have loved having her stay a 'baby' for me. We had cake with Grandma and Papa and Grandma Nelma after spending the afternoon putting in the rest of our windows. It was nice to spend the afternoon with Mom and Dad, I truly enjoy my family and I feel very blessed!

Wonders of Farm Life

I took the kids out to Aunt Wanda's to get a baby lamb fix. Sawyer has been asking to go for the last couple of weeks. The sun was shining and if you ignored all of that snow on the hillside it felt like spring was finally here!
Wanda is holding a baby chick up to Molly's ear so that she could hear it peeping.

I love this look! 'What was THAT!!'

A day in the Woods

Craig took us on a drive Sunday, we went and checked on our lonely equipment, Jezabel and Mrs. Potts. We got to do a little four wheelin' to get there and I'm sure they were happy to see us!
We have made a tradition of taking the kid's pictures next to the Cat at about a year old. Today was Molly's big day and I took about ten pictures, I couldn't get her to smile or look at me in a single one! We might have to try this again.

I like the combo of girly dress and heavy equipment!

The Logging Show

Whatever it takes to get a vacation! We went to Spokane for three days so that Craig could get points to be a 'Pro-Logger'. Papa and Grandma tagged along to help with kids and that is always fun! We visited equipment dealers and scored lots of free pens, mugs, stickers, whistles (very fun in the car), and anything that was offered! The kids had fun and I have to say that it was nice to get out of town for a few days!

The boys liked the trucks!
Of course, Maggie had to have her turn!
I'm not sure what or who they were laughing about.

Moving on to the next project

I feel truly blessed to have such awesome parents, today was Dad's birthday and he celebrated by helping Craig install all five of the windows. It was so nice to have the help, I'm sure it would have taken alot longer had we not had the help! The weather, for the most part, cooperated. It IS Idaho and with every project that needs to be done out of doors there is always the freak snow storm followed by pouring rain and then, of course, sunshine! All in all it went pretty smooth. Thanks Dad!

Sledding on ..... Grass?

The boys went and retrieved the sled from the storage shed and were using what is left of our snow hill on the patio to slide into the yard. Of course when I went to get the camera the picture I captured happened to be of Sidon eating the filthy snow. He assured me that it was 'white AND clean', I'm not convinced!

A bathroom in progress

We had an unplanned remodel of our bathroom over the last couple of weeks so I am behind with posting. Thank the Lord we had 'the cabin in the woods' to hang out at while our bathroom was obviously out of commission! Not having a toilet is not very conducive to potty training.
Craig learned to tile the bathroom floor this week and was also given the job of coloring my hair. Having never done either I was extremely impressed with his ablilty. More pictures coming of the hair later! He has said that his new nickname will be 'Bob Diva' with all the hair coloring, hair cutting, and home carpenter projects he has been doing lately! Sidon was playing it safe while watching Craig lay tile.
The Finished Product!!!
Such a professional job!
